

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Lee. Karen departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Karen grew up in Berkely Springs, WVA with a heart for helping others. Throughout her life, she was known for her warm smile, unwavering compassion, and generous spirit. Her dedication to her family, friends, and community was evident in everything she did.
Karen loved to serve others. Whether she was sharing laughter with loved ones, volunteering her time at the church, or hosting a get together Karen approached life with enthusiasm and grace. She was a steadfast friend, a devoted family member, and a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents (Irvin Henry and Evelyn McCoy) and Roger, her devoted husband of over 59 years. She is survived by her sister, Robin, daughter Terri (Rich), son Bobby (Teresa), four grandchildren - Nathan (Chase), Madison (Jake), Austin (Breanna), Tyler and five great grandchildren – Brooks, Lily, Lawson, Ella and Annie who will forever cherish the memories they created together. Karen’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through their lives and the countless lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Karen’s life at 2PM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Morningstar Methodist Church located at 11072 CR 11, Chelsea, AL 35043. The family invites everyone to gather before the service starting at 1:15 to share stories, and honor her memory. Karen will be interned with Roger at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to either Morningstar Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.
Though Karen is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a guiding light. Karen will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
