Robert George Hesik

A longtime resident of San Carlos, Bob passed away at home on May 10, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1944 in Sheboygan WI to Richard and Anne Hesik. He graduated from El Monte High School and Long Beach State College (now CSULB). He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis and children Heather of San Francisco and Christopher (Amy) of Lexington MA, brother Richard of Seattle, and grandchildren Jacob, Allison and Lucas.

Bob was an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics for 30 years. He was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. He was a longtime fan of SF Giants and a season ticket holder of the 49ers for many years. In retirement Bob volunteered for Filoli and the San Carlos Adult Community Center. He traveled to almost every state (Hawaii was his favorite) and enjoyed several trips to Europe. In Bob’s memory, please lift a glass of your favorite red wine.
