Patsy Norman Jeans

Patsy Norman Jeans passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, with her family by her side. Born Patsy Jean Norman on March 31, 1932, in Cleburne, Texas, Pat was the older sister to Gerald and daughter to Ted and Ina. Her family moved to Dallas, Texas when she was seven years old. She graduated from Sunset High School and stayed in the Dallas area to graduate from Arlington State College. After graduating, she attended Baylor University Medical Center to become a licensed medical technician. A few years later, a vacation to the West Coast lead Pat and her friend Mary to move to California. Pat settled in San Francisco and got a job as a medical technician. She later joined the Calvary Presbyterian Church, and it was during an ice skating social put on by the church that she met Paul, an advertising executive from Oregon. Pat and Paul were married February 1, 1958. Together they stayed in the Bay Area sharing close friendships and adventures with many of the couples they met at church. With two children, family vacations were camping trips and visits to family in Oregon and Texas. In 1972, Pat and Paul moved with their children from San Francisco to Orinda where they joined and stayed long-time volunteers with Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church. They also became active members in the Sleepy Hollow Tennis Club, and shared their love of tennis for many years to come. When Paul started his own service bureau printing business called Exactacolor, Pat played a major administrative role supporting the success of the business. Post-retirement, Pat and Paul settled at Rossmoor and stayed involved with their church and community. After her husband Paul passed, Pat moved into Kensington Place in Redwood City where she kept her personable spark and kindness toward those around her.

Pat will always be remembered as a strong, feisty woman who loved her family. She enjoyed entertaining and sharing the company of good friends, bringing a lively sense of humor (and often a joke up her sleeve) to any conversation, always with a well-timed smile and wink. She loved finding the beauty in things, whether arranging vibrant flower displays or crafting unique projects season to season. Her love and support for her husband never diminished during their 64 years together and she always referred to him as her rock. Pat was always there for her children, providing unwavering love and support from kindergarten, to college, to parenthood. Pat is survived by her two children, Cliff and Lisa (Mark), granddaughters Ashley and Kari, and brother Gerald (Kathy). She will be missed and remembered by everyone with whom she shared her life.
