Born in Beaufort South Carolina at Marine Corp Air Station, Kevin was known for his infectious smile, amazing athleticism, and intelligence. As the first grandchild, he was adored by his parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles who saw him as the “golden child” blessed with many beautiful traits. Kevin showed his talent on the soccer field at an early age. He grew to be a highly skilled and elite player for Ballistic United Soccer Club, Amador Valley High School, and Saint Mary’s College in Moraga. His many years of competitive play brought so much joy to his parents and entire family. Kevin was also exceptionally bright, always excelling academically. There are countless teachers, coaches and counselors that served as supporters and mentors to him throughout his academic years in Pleasanton.
Kevin is survived by his children Jordan Henry of Pleasanton, CA, Andrea and Allison Henry of Quincieux, Fr, mother Judy Henry of Auburn, CA, sister Julie Henry Harder (Scott Harder) of Kirkland, WA, nieces Casey, Kenzie and Carli Harder of Kirkland, WA and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
He joins in loving memory those who preceded him in death including his loving father, Richard Henry, grandparents Don and Marjorie Henry and grandparents Stan and Ellen Zollner.
Though Kevin faced hardships and spent many years navigating challenges with his mental and physical health, he was so much more than his circumstances. He was and will always be a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
