

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Erin Marie Donahue on December 3, 2025. Erin was born on April 13, 1970, in New Jersey as the youngest of three girls. Erin was raised in Arizona before moving to California to pursue an Art degree at the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California. Erin remained in the Bay Area and went on to pursue her master’s in fine arts at the California College of Arts and Crafts as well as post baccalaureate work with the Art institute of Chicago. Erin’s talent as an artist was extensive in the field of graphic arts and painting. Her artistic style was unmistakable and embodied Erin’s wit, humor, and vibrance.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Erin had a deep love of travel and adventure. She found joy and inspiration exploring the world. Her memorable journeys included Morocco, where she rode a camel across the desert and slept in a Bedouin tent; Thailand, where she rode an elephant; Maui, where she snorkeled with sea turtles; and Mexico, where she collected art treasures from the open air markets. These experiences enriched her life and often influenced her creative spirit.
Erin is survived by her husband, Michael Becker, and their adopted son, Hugh Aitchison; her sister, Shannon Weston, brother-in-law, Mark Weston, and their children Ben, Meghan, Kyle, and Delaney; as well as sister, Kelly Suter, brother-in-law, Jeff Suter, and their children, Colin and Kiley. In addition to her family, Erin had countless friends who will also miss her dearly. Erin will be remembered for her talent as an artist, her kindness, warmth, humor, and her infectious smile.
