Sharon Louise McCall passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at the age of 83, in Bellingham, WA. Born on January 26, 1941, Sharon lived a full and happy life, marked by her dedication to her family and friends.
Sharon was beloved for her innate ability to connect with others, always remembering important dates and events in the lives of those she cared about. She maintained close relationships with her colleagues from Ferndale Canary, where she worked from 1977 to 1990. Known affectionately as "The Girls," they continued to meet for monthly lunches long after their retirement, celebrating a friendship that spanned over three decades.
In her personal time, Sharon was an avid crafter and sewer and took great joy in shopping and managing household activities, often humorously described as "supervising her husband." Her home was a warm, welcoming space where friends and family gathered often, drawn by her caring and attentive nature.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Jim (Pete), and her daughter, Debbie. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; mother, Gina; brother, Brent; and son, Richard. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, no memorial services are planned. Sharon had a great love for animals, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Whatcom Humane Society, a cause close to her heart.
