Clifford Gerald Shumate

Clifford Gerald Shumate, also known as Cliff or Jerry to friends and family, was born in San Bernardino, California to parents Wayne Shumate and Janeanne Shumate. Clifford served in the Marine Corpse from 1976 to 1977. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwight and Myrtle Osborne, Duncan and Edith Shumate, and his father, Wayne Shumate. He is survived by his mother, Janeanne Shumate, his brother, Wayne Shumate, Jr, sister-in-law, Tammy Shumate, and his nine nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be dearly missed by all.

There will be a memorial service for Clifford on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 324 Avon Ave., Burlington, Washington, and officiated by Pastor Dan Jester.
