Walter Anthoney Torres

Walter was a man full of life and love, known for his infectious humor and deep affection for his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, whose presence brought joy to everyone who knew him.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Willie Rodriguez, his sisters Alicia, Bernice, and Mary, and his brothers James, Robert, Andy, and Paul Torres. He is survived by his devoted children Bernice & Samuel Bennett, Sandra & Michael Pomerinki, Elise & Anthony Daniels, and Alicia James, as well as his eleven cherished grandchildren. For the past five years, Bernice, his daughter, provided unwavering care for her dad Walter as his health declined. Her dedication and love ensured that his final days were filled with comfort and the warmth of her love.

Walter found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time with his family, visiting local Goodwill’s, savoring meals at good restaurants, and playing his accordion. His jokes and stories were legendary, always bringing a smile to the faces of those around him.

Walter Anthoney Torres will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the laughter, love, and light he brought into their lives.
