 Virginia smiled when she spoke of you, Walter.  I knew she loved you so much and that you two were partners in life.  And, Rose, she did call you her 'Baby Sister' when we would meet for lunch and talk about our families.    Virginia taught me so much and was a dear friend.  She gave me advice when I didn't really want to hear it.  (I still use some of those pieces of wisdom today).  She always cared for her family and friends and worked so very hard for the citizens of  Texas and beyond.  May God hold you in His arms during this time.  You are in my prayers.

My  dear sweet Virginia, you will forever be in my heart. You touched my life in ways no one ever did. Rest easy sweet women you are home now. 

My condolences to Virginia's family, and deep sympathy.  My heart is with you during this difficulty time, wishing you peace and healing.

I had the honor of working with Virginia at the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission and later as an insurance industry representative.

Virginia was very devoted to making the Texas workers' compensation system work for all. 

She also was a great mentor for the men and women who worked for her and those who reached out to her for advice.

Virginia had a heart of Gold and always available to her friends, co-workers, and staff to assist them during their times facing major life challenges and losses.

Heaven has gained a new Angel. Those of us who knew who will miss her.

My condolences to her extend family. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be waiting to greet each of us when we cross over Rainbow Bridge and join her in Heaven.

Virginia was my mentor for several years. She was a wonderful, honorable person who truly cared about the employees with TWCC. I have really missed the opportunity to stop by her office for advice. She had a lot of wisdom.

My condolences to the family. She was a great mentor. I am grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to get into management. She was a strong woman with a big heart.

What a fine person- I enjoyed working with her so much at the Texas Workers Compensation Commission.  An excellent mentor for younger women.  I have thought of her a lot since I left the Commission and was so sorry to hear of her death.
