Sue was born on February 9, 1965, in Elmira, NY. After high school, she spent some time in Pennsylvania and Houston, TX before settling in Massachusetts to start her career and her family. Sue entered the Network Security field as a receptionist but used her intelligence, initiative, and incredible sense of humor to progress to the Director level of management.
After taking an early retirement from the high-tech industry, Sue achieved her personal dream in 2019 when she started the Circle of Love Animal Sanctuary in Hico, Tx. With tons of hard work, she was able to build an organization that was respected and loved throughout her community. Over the years, it provided safe-harbor for hundreds of animals, including dogs, cats, cows, ducks, donkeys, a sheep and a pig. The organization will be carried on in her honor by James Whitlock.
Susan is survived by her son Justin Weaver, her daughter Carisa Weaver; her six grandchildren: Hailey, Kai, Eli, Hayleigh, Laylah, and Sebastian; and her siblings: Cheryl Stone, Sally Derrick, and Richard Saxton. We are all certain that Sue walked across the Rainbow Bridge to pick up Cooper, Roscoe, Little Foot, and Brandy on her way to the Pearly Gates.
