Steven Shipp of Austin, TX passed away on June 6, 2026 at the age of 34. He was born on February 28, 1992 in Peoria, IL where he grew up playing football and fostering a lifelong passion for knowledge.
He graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in international business just weeks before packing up to start a new life in Austin, TX. Steven cultivated relationships everywhere he went and will be missed by coworkers who turned into friends and friends who turned into family.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Valda Shipp; sister, Brittany Shipp of Peoria, IL; sister Sarah Shipp of Bloomington, IL; and brother Lawrence (Shelly) Thomas of Dallas, TX.
