Shirley Louise Anweiler

Shirley Louise Anweiler, 84, Round Rock, TX, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1941, in Auburn, Indiana, to Clark Stahl and Edna (Bowman) Stahl. Shirley was a loving wife to her husband, Donald Anweiler for 59 years; a cherished mother to her son, Derek (Katie) Anweiler; and a loving grandmother to Alison, Hudson, and Jackson Anweiler. Surviving is her brother, James Stahl, and many nieces and nephews.

Don and Shirley formerly lived in Ft. Wayne, IN, Vincennes, IN, Zionsville, IN, and moved to Texas to be near their son, Derek and family. Don and Shirley started an agency with Landstar in 1978 and operated for over 40 years assisting truck drivers in transporting freight. Shirley enjoyed knitting and playing golf. She enjoyed watching Hudson and Jackson play baseball and Ali play volleyball. Shirley also loved baking with her grandkids, from Christmas cookies to Halloween treats and desserts. Shirley loved to spend time with her grandkids and her home was their “home away from home.”
