Richard had a stellar 6-year career as a proud United States Marine Corps. He went on to have a long and successful career in IT, working as an Assistant Vice President at First Interstate Bank.
Richard was a very intelligent man with a quirky sense of humor. He had a love for camping and road trips, creating cherished memories with his grandchildren by reading to them and playing ball. He was also an avid numismatist and sports card collector. Richard enjoyed camping, traveling and attending concerts. He had a deep passion for music, especially Led Zepplin and was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs.
Richard is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gail Lee Starkey (Judy), his daughter Lauren Tara (Judy) Al Azzawi, her husband Moe and their children Aidan, Ivy and Noor. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Dr. Libby (Larson) Judy and his grandson, Collin. Rick’s sister Glenna Jean (Judy) Schalasky, his brother Maurice Allen Judy and his sister Lori Ann (Judy) Bailey. Richard was proceeded in death by his daughter, Tara Lee-Ann Judy, his parents Richard Judy Sr and Martha (Dyer) Judy, his sister Brenda (Judy) Alspach, and his son Richard F. Judy, III.
Richard received his education at Petrolia Primary School, Oblong High School, and the University of Phoenix, where he graduated as a Valedictorian. He will be remembered for his dedication and achievements in both military and professional careers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
