Kim Royer, 69, was called home on OCtober 14, 2023. He was born in South Bend Indiana on September 28, 1954 to Dale Elbert and Billy Royer.
Kim was a devoted and loving husband to Harriet Royer. He was raised in Austin and graduated from McCallum high school in 1973. After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served four years on the USS. Harry E. Yarnell. Kim was the founder of Royer Landscapes which served the Austin and Houston areas for 30 years. He was very creative and talented both musically and artistically singing in musicals and choirs since the age of 3 years old. He was an accomplished, golfer, bowhunter, fisherman and marathon runner. Kim had a wonderful sense of humor and spread laughter and joy to all he touched. He was a devoted, father and grandfather. He dedicated his life to the Lord and was baptized and a flagship member of Austin Baptist Church.
Kim is preceded in death by his father, Dale, Royer, and his mother Billie Royer.
He is survived by his wife; Harriet Royer, Daughter, Kaitlyn Harradon and her husband Thomas; son, Douggie Royer and his wife Amedee; grandsons, Steven, Austin, Joshua, Isaiah, Athens and Matthew; Granddaughters, Audrey, Adelee and Abigail; Brothers, Dale (Bud) Craig and sister Ann.
Kim was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed.
