Renetta Louise Morrelli

Renetta was born in Amarillo, Texas, to George Wesly and Carol Morrelli. She spent most of her life in Texas, most recently residing in River Oaks. Renetta loved exploring the world, often finding joy in trips to Disney World with her family. She had a successful professional life, most recently with PNC Bank, where her exceptional leadership garnered deep respect from her colleagues and customers.

Renetta was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Fort Worth. In her free time, she found happiness in raising Corgis, creating intricate crochet, painting gifts for her loved ones, and engaging in spirited card games with friends.

Renetta's unexpected passing leaves a void in our hearts. She is survived by her beloved son, Daniel Smeraldo III of Austin, Texas, and her mother, Carol Kiefert. She is also mourned by her sisters Christine Morrelli, Rita Morrelli, her brothers Gino (Laura) Morrelli and Tony (Shannon) Morrelli.

Renetta cherished her nieces, Lauren Morrelli, Jennifer (Marc) Sheffield, Renetta Morrelli, and Kaci Conley, as well as her nephews Giovanni Morrelli and Jared Conley. She held a special bond with her great nephews, Anthony and Jay Sheffield. Renetta is preceded in death by her father, George Wesly Morrelli.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 1st, 2024, at 11 am in the Chapel at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Marble Falls, Texas. A Memorial Rosary will precede the service at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice Austin's Christopher House.
