Marevan Patricia Lindsey

Marevan was born on August 18, 1939 in San Francisco, California to Leroy Lindsey Sr. and his wife Jessie (Keeter) Lindsey. She graduated from Phoenix Christian High School and went on the marry Linn McFadden. They had four children together; Patricia, Linnette, Leilani and David.

Marevan was lovingly called Grandma Mary. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Grandma Mary always beamed with pride while being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always carried photos of her family and loved showing anyone she could. Grandma Mary was known for her love of the Lord, her love of her family and her love of ice cream.

Marevan was preceded in death by her father, Leroy, her mother, Jessie and her grandson Alex. She is survived by her three siblings, Leroy Jr., Marilyn and John, her four children, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 9:30 am at the Bruceville-Eddy United Methodist Church, 404 W. Third Street, Eddy, Texas 76524. To honor Grandma Mary and her love for ice cream we will have an ice cream social following the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Legend Oaks of Kyle as well as the nurses of Heart to Heart Hospice who helped care for Marevan.
