

Born in Tooele Utah to parents Helen and Max Bracken, Lynnette spent her life singing and playing piano, attending business college and moving to Texas at the age of 18 after her father Max Bracken passed away suddenly at an early age. She worked and retired from The University of Texas where she achieved many awards including Superior Performance by the Committee on Excellence Awards. She was acknowledged for loyal and devoted service for 15 years. Lynnette was a beautiful person who helped many. She could make you laugh with ease and was such a pleasure to be in her company.
She is survived by her daughter Melanie Bounds Bjugan and husband Rodney Bjugan, grandchildren Colby, Dillon and Alexandra. She is also survived by great grandchildren Sunnie, Cathryn, Tyson and Marlowe. Many nieces and nephews were also the light of her life. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on August 15. 2026.
