Lucille Bernice Hargrove Posey

She was born on November 28, 1946, in Adrian, Michigan to Weldon Phillip Bowerman and Lorena Bowneva Weir.

She married Alvin Backus Posey JR. on September 17, 1999 until his death on December 5, 2013.

She leaves behind her daughter Kimberly Hargrove of Forsand TX a son Richard Hopper and wife Diana of Eddy, TX Raymond Hargrove JR. and wife Bonnie of Eddy, TX Timothy Hopper and wife Kris Loyd Hargrove of Forsand TX Joanna Stephens and husband Ronnie of College Station, TX Deanna Hargrove of Eddy, TX Kathy Owens of Eddy, TX Andy Posey and wife Lindsey of Riesel, TX and daughter Kathie Wright and husband Bill of Denton, TX she had twenty Grand children and many great grand babies and great great grand Babies.

Her hobbies were reading, arts and crafts, drawing, painting she played softball, camping, taking cruises dancing, and spending time with family and friends her special friend Darla Sanborn and her would head off to town and get pedicures and go to lunch.

She had many accomplishments she went to Sul Ross University in Alpine, TX she was an EMT for Bruceville-Eddy volunteer ambulance service and was an original member that started the service for the community and became president of the organization for many years. She was a leader of the BE community she served on the city council for Five years. She also was a member of Tri City Little League which was over BE, Moody and Lorena. She served on the Heart of Texas Heart Rack for several years and has won many awards for her dedication of service to the surrounding communities.

She retired from KCEN-TV where she worked for many years.

Lucy was the nicest person to meet she was funny, witty very smart and eager to help anyone at any time. She loved to laugh and tell funny jokes.

She is preceded in death by husband, Alvin Posey; her mother, Lorena Weir; her father, Weldon Bowerman.
