Leroy Mitchell Bell Sr.

Leroy came into this world and began exploring the farm with his older brother, Paul Dee. Leroy loved swimming in the creek, rounding up the cattle and storing wheat in the huge red barn. This beginning provided a firm foundation of God, family and earth's bounty which projected him all over the world.

On December 19th,1954 Leroy married Patricia Ann Phillips. Together they built a beautiful family and life together lasting 69 years. Leroy's work took him all over the world. Leroy and Pat lived in France for about 3 years.

Leroy is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having attained the rank of Sergeant. He served for 3 years at Cherry Point Naval Base in North Carolina. Leroy will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX on Friday, August 28th, 2026 at 9:45am.

Leroy's wife Patricia preceded him in death in 2023. Leroy is survived by his 3 children, Kathryn Sue, Leroy Mitchell, and Gregory Roland, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his sister Mary Sue Bradley and brother, Roland Charles Bell.

God has welcomed a true and faithful servant. Until we meet again dad, you and mom save a place for us.
