Lee proudly served his country in the United States Navy beginning in 1958. Following his military service, he dedicated his life to helping others through spiritual guidance, healing, and acts of compassion. He was known for his unwavering faith, generous heart, and willingness to share his wisdom with those seeking comfort, direction, and hope.
In 1982, Lee and his devoted wife, Maria Louisa Cantu, founded Cantu's Mexican Imports, a beloved family business. Through the store, Lee continued his life's mission of service by teaching patrons about the traditional uses of medicinal herbs while sharing his deep belief in the power of faith and prayer. His kindness, knowledge, and spiritual guidance touched the lives of countless people in the community.
Lee will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter, Penny (Arnie) Yañez, and stepson, George Carreño, the children of his beloved late wife, Maria Louisa Cantu. He took great pride in his grandchildren, Zachary Yañez and Madeline Yañez, who brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his daughters, Debra Goren, Rita Garcia, and Dale Marie De La Rosa, as well as their children and extended family members.
Lee's legacy of faith, service, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
