

Lawrence Edward Stegall “Larry” of Kyle, TX passed away on October 3rd, 2026 at the age of 64. He was born on May 28th, 1962 in Seattle, WA and then shortly after moved to San Antonio, TX where he was raised.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School and from Angelo State University with a Bachelors in Arts. While at Angelo State University, he met the love of his life Leslie, and they wed in the summer of 1984.
He began his professional career as a teacher and coach at Kingsborough Middle School, before shifting careers into the technology field, working for various companies such as Apple, Scientific Learning, and SolarWinds, until he found his work home with JAMF where he was employed.
He had a genuine passion for helping others recognize their potential and become the best versions of themselves. He found fulfillment in encouraging others, sharing his knowledge, and helping people grow both personally and professionally. Beyond his desire to see others succeed, he cherished the time he spent traveling and making memories with his beloved wife, Leslie. Whether exploring new places, enjoying time with family, or gathering with friends, Larry valued the connections he built and the moments they shared. His impact extended far beyond what he accomplished himself, living on in the lives he touched, the people he encouraged, and the memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by parents Nancy R. Crockett and H. Frederick Stegall, in-laws Maxie J. Cole Jr & Mary A. Cole, brother Sean Crockett, brother in-law Douglas W. Cole.
He is survived by his wife Leslie Stegall, sons David Stegall, Chris Stegall (Mel) & Fabian Cantu (Jessica), 7 grandchildren, Hayden, Ryder, Connor, Amelia, Alex, Kira, Gage, and Leslie, sisters Helen Hutchinson (Robert), and Phyllis Rumsey, stepmother Phyllis J Stegall, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Texas Oncology and the Ascension Seton Hays Hospital doctors and staff for the care and compassion they showed Larry in his final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Hilton Garden Inn San Marcos, TX on Sunday, October 25th. from 11:00am-3:00pm CST.
