Joe was a quiet but hard working man who was always fixing something or working on a project. His motto was do it right the first time. He ensured his daughters and grandkids learned to take pride in their work. He enjoyed camping and freshwater fishing with his grandchildren and nephews in lakes around Texas. Joe rooted for the UT Longhorn’s football on Saturdays tailgating in Austin. He was lifelong die hard Dallas Cowboys fan on Sundays, he was able to attend his first NFL game Thanksgiving 2020.
Joe is survived by his wife, Eva Pardo, married 48 years; daughters, Teresa Pardo Trevino (spouse Jason Trevino), Patricia Halliburton (spouse Sheldon Halliburton), and Diana Morones (spouse Ruben Morones); grandchildren, Jose Antonio Pardo, Bailey Halliburton, Jaziray Trevino, Zackary Halliburton, Joaquin Trevino, Natalie Morones, Alexandria Halliburton, and Nathan Morones; brother, Trindad Pardo; sisters, Susan Rodriguez and Anita Acosta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Pardo; mother, Marcela Ruiz Pardo; and sisters, Felipa Martinez and Isabel Selgado.

The family will be accepting guests from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Cook Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, Texas 78749, on Saturday, August 7, 2021. A Rosary will follow at 7:00pm with Mass at 8:00pm.
