Jerry Frank Baker

Jerry Frank Baker passed away peacefully on August 19, 2023 with his family by his side. Jerry was born in Springfield Missouri on November 29, 1937. He moved to Texas at the age of five. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 35 years retiring as a district manager in 1990. He is survived by his wife Frances Etheridge Baker, daughter Brenda Baker Newell and son in law Dennis Newell, son Jeffrey Baker, two bonus daughters, Kim Robicheaux and husband Dan Robicheaux , Kelli Turnbull and son in law David Turnbull. He loved and adored his grandchildren, Nicholas Newell, Taylor Plattor, Hunter Batte, Landon Batte and Madison Celey. Jerry chose to retire to the Hill Country that he loved so much. He and Fran traveled all over the country in their motorhome for many years. He always had a positive attitude, and the glass was always half full no matter the circumstances. He was an avid reader and golfer. He loved God, family, traveling, and golf in that order. He was a gentle giant, who can never be replaced. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Burnet Methodist Church, Tunnels to Towers or a charity of your choice.
