Jearell Lee Kimbell

Jearell Lee “Kirby” Kimbell of Leander, Texas passed away on September 10th at the age of 67. He was born on October 26th, 1955 in Wellington, Kansas and grew up in Cypress, California.

Jerry graduated from Western High School in 1973 followed by Cypress Junior College where he first learned the skills to become the machinist he later became through vocational education. He was highly respected in his field. He was actively involved in the lives of his wife, sons, and grandchildren.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Edward Kenneth Kimbell.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; his sons, Joshua, Nicholas, and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Isaiah John, Weston Lee, and Evelynn Rose; his Mother, Mona; and his brothers, Jeffrey and David.

The family would like to thank Corey Churchill, Jenny Morgan, Kelly Hill, Joanna Ornelas, Bryan Andrews, Wooyeon Jee, Magdalena Rodriguez, Matthew Boquiren, Kevin Lee, Edward Kim, Peter Nam, the staff at St David’s hospital, John Godby of New Century Hospice, Emma Perry from Palliative Care at St David’s, and Tiffany Allen along with the entire staff at the Neptune Society for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days. In addition the family would like to thank every friend, family member, neighbor, Doctor, Nurse, Therapist, Specialist, and friendly acquaintance who helped and supported us during this difficult time.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Life Celebration Ceremony at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on his birthday, October 26th, at 1:00pm. Invitations to follow.
