Jean Frances Stevens

Jean was born on February 15, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Talmadge and Maude Long.

Jean enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, painting, horseback riding, knitting, talking on the phone, and watching YouTube videos. Throughout her life, she owned and operated several businesses. Above all else, Jean's children were the center of her world and brought her the greatest joy.

She is survived by her children: Alton "David" LeMay (Doris) of Leesburg, Florida; Sherry Thacker (Richard) of Dothan, Alabama; Robin Dickerson of Burnsville, North Carolina; and Crystal White of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Her sister Shirley Maxwell of Raleigh North Carolina.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christopher LeMay, Michael LeMay, Melissa LeMay Gingerich, Blake Thacker, Allison Thacker, Timothy Gibson, Zackary Gibson, Daymon Pritchard, Christopher Gaddy, Kayla Gaddy, Jordan White, Justin White, and Benjamin White as well as many great and even great great grandchildren.

Jean will also be lovingly remembered by her beloved pets, Bella and Miss Beasley.

Jean's love for her family, her adventurous spirit, and her determination will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
