

Hector graduated from University of Texas Austin and attended University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he completed his studies to become a physical therapist.
He had a private practice in south Texas before moving to Austin to become the Director of Physical Therapy at Warm Springs-Gonzalez and then later as Director of Physical Therapy at Travis State School until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Elvira Lozano, his brother, Arturo Lozano, and sister, Teresa Lozano-Long.
He is survived by his children, Hector Lozano, Norma Lozano, Celina Lozano-Martinez, Homer Lozano, Victoria Lozano Viteritto, his grandchildren Laura Lozano-Harris, Nicholas Martinez, Alejandro Lozano, and Andrew Escobar, his great-grandchildren Hannah Harris and Gabriel Harris, his daughter-in-law, Benigna Lozano, his son-in law, Tony Viteritto, and his grandson-in-law, Duncan Harris.
Hector was an avid sports fan. He thoroughly enjoyed following his beloved Longhorns. He felt happiest spending time with his family and friends.
