Gloria Vasquez Torres

Gloria Vasquez Torres of Nicasio and Maria Vasquez passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on April 6th, 1949 in San Marcos, TX. For her career, she worked as a retail associate for Foley’s for over 20 years. She was actively involved in prayer meetings, volunteering with the church, and studying her catholic faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, first-born son, John Torres, and siblings, Armando, Eligio, and Linda Vasquez. She is survived by her spouse, Victor Torres, three children, Dora, Javier, and Nicasio, and grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Gentiva Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Services will be held at Saint John’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 2nd. The day will begin with a mass at 10:00 AM, followed by a remembrance lunch at 11:00 AM. During the lunch, friends, family, and loved ones are invited to share their cherished memories of Gloria.
