Gary Lee Sattman Sr.

Gary Lee Sattman Sr., a beloved family member, passed away on Friday, August 14th, at the age of 85. Born on February 7, 1941, in Kirksville, Missouri, he spent his formative years growing up on his family farm.

He graduated A.T. Still University (Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 1967. He spent over four decades as a primary care physician in Pacific, Missouri, deeply caring for his patients and thoroughly enjoying the people he served.

He enjoyed hunting deer and turkey, fishing, watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball, doing lawn work and spending time with his immediate and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Willadean Sattman, sister Sherrie Ann Wills, and brother Larry Dean Sattman.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette (Porecco) Sattman; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lee Jr. and Montez Sattman; his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle Sattman and Michael Cave; his grandchildren, Thomas Sattman, Tyler Sattman, Simon Sattman, and Charlotte Cave; and his sister, Vaudie Sattman.

The family would like to thank Austin Hospice and Nurse Karla for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
