Frederick Arthur Dee

Fred loved to find a good deal on a broken down tractor, spend time fixing it up and then selling it. He also very much enjoyed attending functions with fellow veterans at the local American Legion.

Fred spent 12 years serving his great country in the USAF. He then went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad for approximately 19 years. Fred was an avid farmer. He was married to his loving wife Carol for 69 years, and they together raised 6 amazing children.

Fred is survived by his wife, Carol Dee of West, TX; his daughter, Janna Slaback and her husband Dennis of Kent, WA; his son, Steve Dee and his wife, Sandra Kaiser of West, TX; his daughter, Lynette Reiber and her husband Greg of Marysville, WA; and his daughter, Sharon Iverson and her husband John of Bremerton, WA.

Fred is preceded in death by twin sons, Marvin and Melvin Dee.

Services will be on January 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church located at 411 W. Pine, West, TX 76691. Military tribute and 21 gun salute to begin at 3:00.
