Eric Thomas Searle

January 11, 1974 - March 13, 2025

With great sadness we announce Eric Thomas Searle, age 51, of Georgetown, Texas

Passed away peacefully after an illness, on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Temple, Texas.

Eric was born in Dallas, Texas to Phyllis Irene Welch Searle and Glen Earnest Searle. Eric spent his childhood and school days in Texarkana, Nacogdoches, Fairfield and Pampa, Texas. He attended Navarro Junior College before being employed by America One Television and One World Sports as an Assistant Director and Production Editor. He then worked for as a Network Management Control Technician for Fox Sports before transitioning to Disney Television. At the time of his death, he worked as an Administrative Assistant and Project Manager for A Carefree Traffic Survival School.

As a young painter, Eric created many works of art and continued creating electronic music recordings and graphic art over the years. He was an avid collector of vintage vinyl albums enhancing his knowledge of a variety of musical genres. He was known for his quick dry humor and enjoyed cooking, camping and hiking.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Earnest Glenn Searle and survived by his mother, Phyllis Welch of Carefree, Arizona, sister and brother-in-law, Tori and Seth Huckaba of Georgetown, Texas, brother and sister-in-law, Kevin Searle and Amanda Searle of Leander, Texas, nephews, Kaleb and Evan Huckaba, niece, Keely Searle and uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be Life Celebration for Eric on Saturday, May 3rd in Georgetown with the details to be announced soon.
