Emily Marinda Vincent

Emily had a rare genetic disorder, Angelman Syndrome and she attended Special Needs education in public schools in Austin. She graduated from Hays High School in Buda TX. She loved attending Buda's Brightside under the guidance of Christina Trevino and Stephany Franco along with their co-workers. The many activities and outings enhanced her life and gave her many wonderful friends. Emily also attended the Embrace Sunday School at Austin Ridge Bible Church, Southwest Campus, Austin, TX where she learned of the Love of Jesus Christ and gained many friends. One of her joyful experiences was attending Camp Summit, in Paradise, TX, a camp for special needs persons. Their loving care and attention afforded many activities such as swimming, horseback riding, and art projects.

Emily is survived by her loving parents; her brother, Nicholas Vincent; and grandmother Susan S. Smith. She is also survived by her aunt, Sarah Smith Feist; cousins, Lillian Feist and Amelia Feist of Parker, CO; aunt, Karen Smith, of Kyle, TX; cousins, Sydney Alcala and family of Corpus Christi, TX and Sabrina Smith of Houston, TX; cousins, Ashdan and Morgan Hernandez; uncle, George Hernandez of Aurora, CO; great aunt and uncle Donald and Judy Chandler of Kerrville, TX; great uncle, Thomas Smith and family of Waco, TX; several cousins in Fayetteville, AR; and numerous friends.

The family of Emily would like to thank all of the many teachers and therapists who taught Emily through the past years along with her many friends. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, especially country and classical. Her delight and wonderment was an inspiration to all who met her.

A service to honor Emily's memory will be held Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Austin Ridge Bible Church (Southwest Campus at Oak Hill) 7411 W. Highway 71
