Elizabeth Ann Pape

Elizabeth Ann Pape, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on May 5, 1946, in McAllen, Texas, Elizabeth dedicated her life to nurturing others, both as a devoted mother and as a compassionate special needs teacher.

Elizabeth had a deep love for arts and crafts, finding joy in creating and sharing her talents with those around her. Her creativity and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on her family, friends, and students.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Pape. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Karla, Brian, Richard, Travis, and Justin; her grandchildren, Megan, Josh, Sam, Liam, Emily, Issac, Elijah, Ben, and Ari; and her great-grandchildren, Riley and Paisley.

A memorial service to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to a special needs education charity of your choice, honoring Elizabeth’s lifelong dedication to helping others.
