Clyde and Faye have a special love story. The first time Clyde met Faye, they were both enrolled at Southwest Texas State University. Faye was in a bookstore on campus looking for a particular book that she needed for one of her courses. Clyde saw her and asked if he could help her find something. When Clyde returned to his dorm, he told his roommate that he had just met the woman he was going to marry. Truly love at first sight. Their anniversary is May 11th and would have had 67 years together. That’s a lifetime for many.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days at St David’s hospital in Georgetown and Round Rock.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at First Baptist Church in Bertram on May 9th, at 10:00 am.
