Brenda Lee Hunt

Born July 16,1953 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was the daughter of Buddy L. and Mary E. (Porter) Johnson former residents of Tecumseh, Michigan.

She was a graduate of THS class 1971. She married Cortland Hunt formerly of Tecumseh on October 19, 1973. This year they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Brenda spent many years as a medical transcriptionist and homemaker. She enjoyed mostly being a grandmother and great-grandmother she also enjoyed cross-stitching, knitting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.

Brenda is survived by her husband of Hutto, Texas; daughter Nicole (Jeff) Shelton of Lake Elsinore, CA; grandson Austin Burton and great grandson Dylan of Lake Elsinore, CA; daughter Mary Hunt of Austin, Texas; granddaughter Olivia and grandson Peter Sandford of Austin, Texas. Sisters Renae Veldhoven; Tammy (Steve) Bachman both of Jackson, Michigan. In addition, she had six nieces and nephews.

Cremation was overseen by the Neptune Society in Austin, Texas. She will be buried in Chelsea, MI on October 19, 2023. A celebration of Life will be held in Clinton, MI on October 21, 2023. If you would like to attend please email [email protected]
