After a long hard-fought battle with cancer Blake was able to find peace at his second home in Arkansas where he loved the land and the people. Blake lived life to the fullest and was able to make a trip to Texas to visit family and friends shortly before he passed.
Blake was the beloved son of the late Jerry and Laquita Dunlap. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Koetting Dunlap, of almost twenty years; dear brother of Geri (Dale) Lynn of Georgetown, Texas and Paula Ann Nunemaker of Midland, Texas; dear son-in-law, brother -in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bay, Texas on January 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
Per Blake’s wishes a party will be held in Arkansas in late December for his beloved “framily” he made there.
Although Blake did not have any children of his own, he connected with so many and had a passion for kids of all ages. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to a children’s charity of your choice, or simply be a friend to a child who needs one.
