Barbara Ann Debenport

Barbara Acker Debenport of Pearland TX left this world to be with the Lord on January 9, 2017 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born to Jack and Freda Mae Acker February 2, 1936. She graduated from Longview High School in Longview, TX and proceeded to live an amazing life. She always had a big smile and could make anyone feel welcomed.

Barbara is survived by sisters, Betty Halstead and Jane Dunton, children, Giles Debenport (Kristen) and Joyce McMullen (Andres Garcia), grandchildren, Jennifer Kinnebrew (Trent), Melanie Woodside (Terry), Travis Debenport (Kelsie Dartayet), and great-grandson, Dean Kinnebrew.

Her celebration of life will be 2 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Current – A Christian Church located at 2660 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77494. Flowers are welcomed and should be delivered by 1:00 pm at the church. Moreover, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation.
