William Wendell Sedgwick

William was born on October 30, 1938, in Carrollton, MO to Virginia and Willis Sedgwick.

William served in the U.S. Army in the 62nd Engineer Company in Vicenza Italy from 1958 to 1960. After his service he worked as an Electrician until retirement.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Shirley Sedgwick, son, David Sedgwick, parents, Willis & Virginia Sedgwick; brother Jim Sedgwick and sister, Kay Cooper.

He is survived by his son, Glenn (Janice) Sedgwick of Cumming, GA; grandson, Christopher Sedgwick of Marietta, GA; Granddaughter, Aimee Sedgwick (Chris Dean) of Largo, FL; Great Granddaughters Eva Honse & Abigail Honse of Largo, FL; brothers Wayne Sedgwick of Blue Springs, MO and Jack (Judy) Sedgwick of Platte City, MO and sister Fay Covey of Kingston, MO. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Liberty, MO.
