Willian (Bill) Erwin Chapman, of Grayson, Georgia passed into the arms of Jesus on January 11, at 1:10 a.m. after a massive stroke. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him, and his wonderful smile.
He was born August 15, 1943 in Grand Haven, Michigan.
He is predeceased by his father William Arvis Chapman, and his mother, Elsa Mae Van Atter Chapman, his brother Paul Arvis Chapman, and sister Doris Ann Chapman.
He is survived by his wife Janice W. Chapman of Grayson Georgia.
He is survived by his son William Eric Chapman (Hollie) of Livonia, Michigan ( grandchildren Sarah Chapman, Tom Chapman, Oscar Chapman, Finn Chapman) and his son Jim Chapman of Northport, Florida.
He is survived by his stepdaughter Stephanie Prout Forsberg, (Ted), grandchildren Carl Forsberg and Brett Forsberg, and
his step son Rob Prout(Laura) and grandchildren Roselyn, Carlson and Estelle.
He is also survived by his aunt, Ruth Chapman Johnson of Mancelona, Michigan.
He was an active member of Grayson United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir for many years.
He was a life member of the Masons of Michigan, Oceana Wigton Benonia Lodge.
Funeral services will be at Grayson United Methodist Church, 555 Grayson Parkway, Grayson, Ga 30017 at 2:30 pm, January 18. Visitation will follow the funeral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grayson UMC choir ministry, or GUMC Foundation.
