Ruth G Blue

It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Genevieve Blue announces her passing on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 75 years young in Oakwood, GA. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by daughters and son-in-law Sandi and Scott Savarese, Buford, GA and Thi Schultz, Hillsboro, OR; sister Grace Pipito, Levittown, PA; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James.

Ruth was born in Philadelphia, PA to Harry and Ruth Sheard on April 7, 1943. She grew up in Croydon, PA and later married James in September of 1966. Jim's career provided them with the opportunity to travel the world, experience many cultures, and develop a love for oceans, rivers and lakes, which brought them peace and tranquility. She spent many years as a stay at home mother and eventually reentered the workforce with a successful career with various organizations. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sharing stories and had a laugh that was contagious to all.
