Richard D. Shields, Sr., 79, of Woodstock, GA passed away May 25, 2017. Raised in Vienna, WV, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Foley Shields. Survivors include his daughter, Diana Hines , his sons; Richard D Shields, Jr. and Dustin Shields, his grandsons; Eric Beavers, Christopher Shields, Richard D Shields III, Richard Hines and Michael Hines. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18 at 2:30 pm at the GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA. He will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew him.
