Edward Leo Guidi

Edward Leo Guidi, 66 of Cartersville, GA, loving and devoted husband and soulmate to Cathy Chasse Guidi, entered into eternal rest February 19, 2022 surrounded in love by his family. Edward was born November 24, 1955 to the late Lawrence J Guidi Sr and Patricia D Guidi in Memphis TN. Ed graduated from Memphis Catholic High School in 1973 and Magna Cum Laude from Fairfield University. Ed has been employed by Insurity, Inc where he really enjoyed his position of Software Engineer for over 15 years.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his 2 sisters Cindy Beck and Margret Lynn Welch. Besides his wife Cathy he leaves behind sons Christopher Kenny and Rebecca Kenny of Dallas GA, Tyler Kenny and Stela Veli of Rocky Hill CT, sadly, his estranged daughter Jaime Guidi, and 2 precious grandsons Mason and Connor Kenny of Dallas GA. 2 brothers and their wives Lawrence Guidi Jr and Mary Guidi of Michie TN, John Guidi and Laura Guidi of Jackson TN. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, in-laws, as well as many cherished friends who became his family.

The family would like to thank Pruitt Home Health but specifically Kim Lambert, Marsha, and Erin. Dynamic Palliative and Hospice care but especially Michael Paine NP for the love and compassion they showed Edward. Special thanks also to all the wonderful friends and family who prayed for him during his illness.
