

Deborah Lynn Wetherholt, age 70, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 20, 2024. Born on June 11, 1953, in Elkins, West Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of Wilma and the late John Talerico Sr.
A devoted wife to Gary for 46 years, Debbie was also a nurturing mother to her three children, Brian Wetherholt (Kelly), Kristi Guzman (Warnell), and Kimberly Adcock (Nelson), and a proud grandmother to Jackson and Hunter Wetherholt, Avery and Emma Adcock, and Logan and Lincoln Guzman. Her love and selflessness knew no bounds, as she dedicated her life to her family.
Professionally, Debbie found fulfillment in education, teaching at Hightower Trail Middle School in Cobb County, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Marshall University and went on to complete her Master's and Doctorate degrees.
Throughout her battle with cancer, Debbie's unwavering faith in God remained her source of strength, and her positivity inspired all who knew her. Her legacy of love and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, Debbie is survived by her mother, Wilma Talerico, and her siblings, John Talerico Jr., Angela Talerico, Maria Broyles, Anna Ward, Roberta Baete, and Aimee Caudle.
