Bobby J. Hannon (Bob) of Peachtree Corners passed away on September 21, 2016. He was born December 28, 1927 in Moultrie, GA. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Allen Hannon, daughter Karen, son David (Laura Mungai), and grandchildren Sofia and Jack. He is also survived by Sisters-in-law, Lois and Nora and nieces Juliana Hannon and Kate Hannon. He was preceded in death by parents Henry Morgan and Carolyn Eure Hannon, and also brothers Wallace and Don. Bob served in the US Army as an Honor Guard to General Douglas MacArthur in Tokyo. He owned and operated Carson’s of Atlanta (retail furniture and appliances). Bob enjoyed sports, reading and travel. He was passionate about the game of golf and had five holes-in-one. A private family service will be held at a later date.
