Peter Alan Romwall passed away on May 1, 2026, just days after celebrating his 75th birthday. Born on April 28, 1951, Peter made his home in Templeton, California, with his beloved wife, Elizabeth.
Peter was, and always will be, deeply loved by his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, mentor, and friend whose impact reached far beyond those related to him by blood.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Daisy and Jaime; and his stepchildren, Veronica, Christopher, and Anthony. He also shared a special bond with his extended family, including his in-law children, Genaro, Jon, Jessica, and Sabina.
Peter was a proud grandfather to Lorelei and a cherished "Pappy" to Tyler, Evan, Kieran, Penelope, Ellie, Elmer, and Otis. He is also survived by his siblings, Keith, Rodney, and Lisa.
Friendship was one of the great joys of Peter's life. His lifelong friendship with Greg and countless hours spent with his poker buddies brought him tremendous happiness. Yet Peter valued every friendship he made, treating each relationship with genuine care, loyalty, and warmth.
Throughout his life, Peter served as a teacher, mentor, and trusted advisor to many. He generously shared his wisdom, guidance, humor, and perspective with anyone who sought his help. His ability to encourage others and help them see life's possibilities was one of his greatest gifts.
Peter's legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friendships he nurtured, and the many lives he touched. Those who knew him will forever remember his optimism, wit, and his favorite reminder:
"Live life with an Attitude of Gratitude. We only get this one go and it doesn't last for long, so make every moment count and live life now, tomorrow may not come."
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
