

Jacqueline Jean King was surrounded by a loving family as she passed quietly into Heaven on October 17th, 2024 in the early morning hours.
Jacque had lived and worked in Santa Maria for the last several decades. She was a hardworking, kind, thoughtful, loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend to so many.
Jacque was born in Needles, California on 11-23-1936 to Paul Ray and Norma Phyllis (White) Davenport. She was a member of the 4H Club for many years, was an honor student, class officer, and Homecoming Queen. She received many honors in business courses and was an adept Escrow Officer at MidState Bank for many years. She was also a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribe. Jacque is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald King. Jacque has two surviving brothers, Mike and Ron Davenport, two biological sons, Galen (Tracey)and Steve (Christina) Powers, five surviving step-children, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her greatly.
