Virginia Pearl "Ginny" St. Clair (Monroe) passed away on January 26, 2017 in Greeley, Colorado at the age of 91. Virginia is survived by her children, Gary St. Clair of Greeley, CO, Doug (Mary) St. Clair of Marana, AZ. Her Grandchildren Joni (Dan) Hicks, Sarah (Bryson) Thomas, Erin (Chad) Kuhn, Nicole (James Shea) St. Clair, Ian (Angela) St. Clair, Nathan St. Clair, Diego St. Clair, and Angel St. Clair. Her Great Grandchildren Shaun, Krisha, Kayleigh, Riley, Victoria, Jackson, Gavin, Ellie, William, Cooper and Aria. She is preceded in death by by her husband, William St. Clair, Parents Charles and Beatrice Monroe, Siblings Ernest Monroe, Lester Monroe, Lorraine Puryear, and Jewell Smith. Virginia was born on March 30, 1925 in Dewey, Oklahoma to Charles and Beatrice Monroe. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1942. She married Bill, in 1950. The couple welcomed two children into their home. Virginia retired from North Western Bell in 1978 and moved to Colorado to be near her sons and grandchildren. She was an avid volunteer for the Greeley Senior Center from 1991-1999. Virginia was accomplished seamstress and often made clothes for her grandchildren. Virginia was a dedicated grandmother who loved caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed drawing, painting, knitting, and was an incredible board game player who had a weekly Scrabble Club. She was very entertaining for adults and children alike dressing as a clown for her grand-daughter’s tenth birthday party and North Western Bell functions. She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor that reflected her fun personality! A Memorial/ Open House is scheduled for February 4, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 at the Greeley Senior Activity Center, 1010 6th St, Greeley, CO 80631. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Virginia's life.
