Vedith Ophelia Clark

Vedith Ophelia Clark,93, passed away peacefully at home in Castle Rock, CO with her family on Monday, September 9, 2024. She was born in Bard, NM (Quay County) on July 23, 1931. Her younger years were spent growing up in Grant's, NM. She spent her adulthood in Albuquerque/Edgewood, NM where she worked as a retail clerk until she retired. She went on to own a children's clothing store in Moriarty, NM called "Just for Kids" for several years. She stayed busy working part-time jobs until the age of 80. In the early eighties her and her husband moved to Bloomfield, NM. In 2010, she lost her husband to cancer and moved to Castle Rock, CO to live with her daughter. Her hobbies included painting, arts and crafts, sewing and playing games on her computer. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Doug; sons, Larry and Doug Jr.; brothers, John and Andrew. She is survived by her daughters, Veleda and husband Everett, Mitzi; son, Charles (Chuck) and wife Anna; sister, Rose Carlene; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

To honor her wishes there will be no memorial services. Instead we invite you to please celebrate Vedith's memory in your own way.
