Shirley Anna Mae Zwemke

Shirley (Bahnmiller) Zwemke age 87, passed away peacefully August 15th, 2019 in Thornton, CO. Shirley was born in Ismay, Montana on September 27th, 1931. She graduated from Big Sandy High School in 1950, where she met Ralph Bahnmiller, her high school sweetheart. They were married on November 25th, 1950. They had 3 children, Bruce Bahnmiller of Thornton, CO., Ralph Bahnmiller of Arvada, CO., and Colleen Krick of Thornton, CO.

Ralph died in a tractor accident in April 1958. Shirley remained a widow for 8 years. She met Herb Zwemke in 1966 with his 3 kids: Leo Zwemke of Billings, MT., Larry Zwemke (deceased), and Lois Fulwider of Seattle, WA. Shirley has 6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Shirley worked as a Clerk and Recorder in the Lewistown Courthouse. She was a house wife and a loving mother who loved quilting. Shirley also worked as a hospice volunteer and loved to play cards with friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20th, at 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge in Lewistown, MT.
