Sherri Lee Allman, of Fort Collins passed away on Sept. 28, 2017, at the age of 66. Sherri was born in Brush, Colorado to Barbara Nickell on July 15, 1951. Sherri was the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from Littleton High School and went on to further her education at CU-Boulder. She married her husband, Randall Allman on March 17, 1979. Sherri loved animals and she worked for a short time when she was younger at an animal shelter. She worked for an extended period of time at the post office in Westminster. Sherri moved to Fort Collins in April of 2016. She was a caring mother and a loving grandmother. Sherri appreciated art and culture. Although her favorite book was "Jitterbug Perfume" by Tom Robbins, Sherri was an avid reader who also enjoyed the works of Carlos Castaneda and Stephen King. Her favorite artist was Amado Peña and her favorite album was "Time" by Electric Light Orchestra. Sherri also loved sunny days and favored the Spring Equinox because it meant that daytime lasted longer. Sherri is preceded in death by her husband Randall Allman; mother, Barbara Nickell; and sister, Vicki Brown. She is survived by her sisters; Cindy Hill, and Mickie Oreskey; daughter, Christine Reuter; grandsons Marcus Weber, and Calvin (Samara) Weber; and 2 great grandchildren.
