Mrs. Sarah Simmeth

On November 2, 2020 our mother Sarah Lu Simmeth went to join her husband, daughter and her pets in heaven. Sarah was born on December 28, 1926 to Mabel and Clarence Acrea in Denver Colorado. Sarah had two sisters, Madge Lara and Donna Bell Lara. Sarah met Theodore (Ted) Simmeth in Rye Colorado and were married on May 16, 1946. The couple lived in Rye, Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Saguache Colorado until her death. Sarah worked in the Saguache museum for many years and loved every minute of it. Sarah loved going for long rides in the country and the mountains, visiting with friends, family and her animals. To this union four children were born, Marie Godfrey (George), Christine (Tennie) (Deceased) Unseth, Sharry MacArthur, Bill (Susie) Simmeth, grandchildren Kenneth Hollingsworth, Richard (Debbie) Hollingsworth, Kelly Unseth and Travis (Kristina) Simmeth. Six great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Sarah will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
